FreeTilitSells Listing Policies

(This policy is used by all FreeTilitSells.com member sites)

FreeTiliItSells.com exists to bring sellers and buyers together. Our goal is to make it extremely easy for you to list your item on our website. To help you along, we’ve detailed our listing policies below. We’ve also outlined how we handle any listing violations when they are reported to us.

Proper category listing

We want buyers to find your items easily. For that reason, we need to ensure that all items are listed in the appropriate category. If we find an item listed in the wrong category, we will move it to the proper one. If we find items that belong in our restricted “Mature Audience” area anywhere else on the site, we will remove them.

Separate Listings

Each different item must be listed separately. Items that differ in any way must have separate listings.

Duplications

You may list an item in more than one category, but these listings must be linked together so that the item is removed from ALL listed categories when it is sold. Please remember that items must be listed ONLY in relevant categories.

Advertisements and Credits

We don’t allow sellers to place any advertising for 3rd party companies, products or services unrelated to the item being sold. We recognize that some sellers may use 3rd party services (photo hosting, visitor counters, listing software and payment services) that require or request creditattribution within the listing. We will allow such credit within the following guidelines:

FreeTilItSells.com permits creditattribution to appropriate 3rd parties directly connected with the listing only. This creditattribution may be in the form of HTML font size 3 OR a logo (88 x 33 pixels) identifying the company or service. It may NOT contain any promotional material or other information about the 3rd party company. Text CreditAttribution Guidelines:

HTML font size 3 or smaller
10 word limit
May contain clickable text links (assuming they comply with FreeTilItSells.com policies)
Limit information to the company and/or the service they provide
- “provided by Company X”
- “photo hosting by Company Z”
- “I accept Company Y payment”

Logo Credit Attribution Guidelines

Maximum size of 88 x 33 pixels
May link ONLY to the 3rd party website
May not include promotional statements

Bonuses, giveaways, raffles and prizes

Any listing that promotes a bonus, giveaway, drawing or prize is NOT permitted on the site. These listings may be illegal in certain states. These listings will be removed and the seller will be charged the insertion fee. Listing Techniques that Circumvent the Freetilitsells fee structure Sellers may not use any technique that circumvents the FreeTilItSells.com Here’s what we mean:

offering an item OUTSIDE FreeTilItSells.com within your listing
listing an item with a low price but unreasonably high shipping and handling costs
listing an item that requires or offers an additional purchase
listing a single item and offering identical items within the same listing
listing an item with a URL or email address in the title
listing a catalog from which buyers can purchase items (listing collectible catalogs is permitted)

All such listings are prohibited and will be deleted. We reserve the right to discipline the offending seller by suspension or termination of their account.

Repeat offenses

If you repeatedly list items that violate our User Agreement we may suspend your rights to use our website.

Payment Surcharges

Sellers may not charge a credit card surcharge fee when accepting credit card payments. Such surcharges may violate the law in certain states. You can get more information by following the links below:
